Backpacking Australia is a relaxed city which has a wonderful climate and vast stretches of sandy beaches. To the East of Perth, you can take a trip to a goldmine in Kalgoorlie. You can swim with Dolphins at Monkey Mia, or visit the incredible rock formations such as Wave Rock. To the north of the state is the Kimberly region, with the Bungle Bungle mountain range. This region is also home to the coastal pearling town of Broome.
