Brisbane has excellent public transport, buses go far and wide and catamarans go up and down the Brisbane River, numerous train stations can take you around Brisbane or out to see the rest of Backpacking Australia. Brisbane International Airport is located just outside the city with an air train running from the city to the airport in 20 minutes. Brisbane is a great city to walk or bike around. Tickets bought for Brisbane public transport can be used on trains, ferries and buses.
